Allied Fire Alarms & Escapes is proud to be listed on NICEIC’s Roll of Approved Contractors. We see it as a mark of our knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. While it provides our customers with the reassurance of knowing we have been assessed against the most stringent set of competency requirements.
As an NICEIC registered contractor since 1982 we work to the UK national standard - BS 7671, which means we issue safety certificates for all our electrical work to confirm that the installation has been designed, constructed, inspected, and tested in accordance with the standard.
What is more, in order to maintain our status as an approved and competent contractor, we undergo a regular on-site assessment of recent installations.
IFEDA

Allied Fire Alarms & Escapes is also a member of IFEDA one of the leading fire extinguisher bodies widely recognized within the UK. IFEDA is in place to make sure we:

Achieve and maintain a quality system in accordance with BS EN ISO 9001: 2015 in line with the requirements of the appropriate BAFE scheme

Ensure we operate to the appropriate BAFE scheme/s requiring the licensing of all service personnel e.g. SP101 for fire extinguisher servicing.

​Keep us up to date on key legislative changes and other industry-related news

Provide a bank of data, technical memos, and other relevant information​

For us to have access to training courses to keep the members, and non-members, up-to-date with certificated qualifications, including BAFE recognized training courses; of which fire extinguisher training is of paramount importance

Allied Fire Alarms & Escapes is also a proud backer of C-TEC a leading UK independent manufacturer of quality life safety systems. Allied's relationship with C-TEC s started in the 1980s when they were just starting to manufacture equipment. Over the years we have been impressed by their quality of products and customer care and continue to install their products to this day.
